Who we are

Hi, I’m Heather, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), registered nurse, and the founder of Lactadoula.

I’m a full-spectrum doula dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. I created Lactadoula because I believe parents deserve evidence-based care, compassionate support, and guidance that honors their values, culture, and instincts.

My work blends clinical expertise with hands-on, emotional support. As a hospital-based RN and IBCLC, I’ve supported families through labor, breastfeeding challenges, and the vulnerable early days after birth. As a doula, I bring that knowledge into a calm, non-judgmental space—helping parents feel informed, confident, and supported.

At Lactadoula, I offer prenatal education, birth support, postpartum care, and lactation support, meeting families where they are. There is no single “right” way to give birth or feed a baby—my role is to support your goals, advocate for your voice, and help you make empowered decisions.

It’s an honor to be part of such a meaningful chapter of your life. I would love to support you.
