Hi, I’m Heather—an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), registered nurse, and the founder of Lactadoula.

I am a full-spectrum doula dedicated to supporting individuals and families through fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, abortion care, pregnancy and infant loss, and end-of-life transitions. I created Lactadoula because I believe people deserve evidence-based care, compassionate presence, and guidance that honors their values, culture, and instincts.

My work blends clinical expertise with emotional, physical, and educational support. As a hospital-based RN and IBCLC, I have supported families through labor, feeding challenges, complex postpartum transitions, loss, and the vulnerable early days of parenting. As a doula, I bring that knowledge into a calm, non-judgmental space—helping you feel informed, confident, and supported at every stage.

At Lactadoula, I provide comprehensive, personalized care including prenatal education and birth planning, continuous labor and birth support, postpartum recovery and newborn support, in-home and virtual lactation consulting, feeding education, pumping and return-to-work planning, and extended postpartum guidance. I also offer compassionate full-spectrum support for abortion care, pregnancy and infant loss, and end-of-life transitions—holding space with dignity, respect, and emotional presence.

There is no single “right” way to give birth, feed a baby, make reproductive choices, or navigate life’s transitions. My role is to support your goals, advocate for your voice, and help you make empowered, informed decisions.
